Photolithography

This is the process used in much of our manufacturing to transfer very high definition positive or negative images from a photomask master onto a substrate, be it on glass, film or electroformed in metal foil.

It involves coating, soft-baking, aligning, exposing with UV light, developing, and etching to define micro-scale features for optical and electronic devices.
