Electro-Forming & Etching
Electroforming processes are used to create high-definition products in copper, nickel and gold. Etching processes are used to create molybdenum, titanium, aluminium and stainless-steel components.
Typical products are apertures (pinholes and slits), electron microscopy grids, MTF plates, chopper wheels, targets and gunsights.
Graticules has perfected electroforming processes to create the best possible apertures. Building up the metal layers creates a superior edge finish and aperture shape, to reduce light scatter and produce a beam shape with better definition.
These images really emphasise the quality and why electroforming is better.
