Targets are used in surveying and aiming systems for calibration or alignment measurement. They may consist simply of a series of concentric circles as a chrome on glass image or can have a more complex pattern with compensation markings. These are normally custom products made to the exact specification of the customer.
Gunsight reticles can be made using electroforming techniques to produce precision foil products or on glass - chrome sruface pattern or etch & fill. Again, these are normally made to custom designs.
